What is the Legion of Mary?

Legion of Mary is a Roman Catholic, Mother Mary organization operating within the stratosphere of the Catholic denomination across the globe.

The organization was established by Frank Duff and along with Rev. Fr. Michael Toher in the Dublin Archdiocese, Ireland. Also, her exact birthday cannot be sidelined, which took place on september 7, 1921 in the said Archdiocese.

Afterward, it received its papacy approval from the then pope Pius XI in the year 1931. Since then till date, legion of Mary has become one of the most popular and indispensable instrumental Catholic church organization in carrying out the church activities and functions, just a sword on the hands of a warrior.

However, some of the spiritual fundamental and architectural designed activities of the organization includes:

1. Visitation of motherless baby homes.

2. Apostolic preaching of Christ to all souls.

3. Prayers and visitation of the sick in the hospital and their homes too.

4. Spiritual prayers and councelling of the needy and the brokenhearted.

The organization is known with very wide ranges of spiritual works of mercy and divine devotions to winning of souls. She has always experience different challenges, yet, it has maintained upswept standingpoint in its dedication, functions and fealty to Christ, the Blessed Virgin, the Church and humanity in general.

OUR LADY HELP OF THE CHRISTIANS SENIOR PRAESIDIUM ST. PETER AND PAUL SCHEDULES

As the organization continue to multiply spiritually and otherwise, St. Peter and Paul Tbilisi, is not left behind. Currently, the parish has its own branchlet of the said organization referred as Our Lady Help Of The Christians Senior Praesidium.
